Widex

Widex has been at the forefront of the development of the most forward of the technologies. A family owned company in Denmark, Widex was the company that revolutionized the Hearing Aid business by introducing the first digital processor a little over 15 years ago. The Widex Senso turned the hearing aid world upside down, literally changing the very way we look at hearing and auditory cognition. They were also the first to shrink this technology to the size of a CIC, (Completely In The Canal), which was, until 2 years ago, the smallest hearing aid size available. The micro CIC took that to a new level, but was not the invention of Widex. That being said, they did a phenomenal job of improving the amplification with devices this size.
